Cosmetic dentistry aims to create a beautiful smile. At White House Dental Studio, we aim to provide the latest treatments to help create your perfect smile. Treatment may range from tooth whitening through to a full smile makeover.

teeth whiteningAs we age our teeth naturally get darker. This is partly due to getting older but is also caused by lifestyle factors such as the amount of tea, coffee and red wine we drink, smoking and some medication.

Tooth whitening can be a highly effective way of lightening the natural colour of your teeth, without the need for any invasive treatment.

veneersA veneer is a very thin layer of porcelain that is constructed to fit over the surface of the tooth to improve the colour, shape and appearance. Due to the fact the veneer is attached to the tooth using a special adhesive very little, if any preparation is needed to fit them.

smile makeover

For any patient looking to completely update their smile we are able to offer a full smile makeover. The dentists are able to put together a full treatment plan including a number of the treatments detailed above to provide you with safe, pain free and predictable dentistry solutions.

cosmetic bonding

Dental bonding is a procedure where a tooth coloured resin is applied to the teeth to improve the shape and close gaps between teeth. The resin is hardened with a special light, which will bond the material securely to the natural tooth.

By using cosmetic bonding it is possible to ensure that the minimum amount of tooth structure is removed. This helps to enhance the potential life of your teeth.

gummy smile

When you smile, do you feel the appearance of your upper teeth are overshadowed by showing excessive gum? Do you think your teeth look too short compared to the amount of gum displayed when you smile?

If you answered "yes" to either of these questions, you may have a condition that is commonly called a "gummy smile" or excessive gingival display.

gum liftIf you have a low or uneven gum line, our gum sculpting service can give you safe and predictable results quickly. It is also now possible to use Anti wrinkle injections to help solve this problem. This treatment is often combined with veneer placement to give a uniform appearance to front teeth especially.

nite whiteThis is our at home teeth whitening product. Following your consultation the dentist will take impressions of your teeth, which will be used to create custom whitening trays.

The treatment will be customised so that it can best fit around your daily routine. You will be provided with whitening gel that is placed into the trays and worn at a time to suit you.

With many different strengths of gel available the dentist is able to tailor the treatment so that it will give the best possible effects whilst fitting in with your lifestyle. Nite White® uses patented ACP (Amorphous Calcium Phosphate) technology, which has been proven to smooth the surface of the teeth, giving a glossy finish as well as lightening the colour.

pola officeThis is our in surgery tooth whitening product. You will need to attend the surgery for a 45 minute appointment during which a peroxide gel will be applied to your teeth. This is then activated using a blue light. This treatment will provide instant whitening results.

The gel will be applied, activated and then washed off at least three times during the session.

In order to achieve the best possible results from your whitening you will need to follow up your surgery treatment with a course of at home whitening, which is included in the price.

porcelain crownsOver the past few years there have been a number of advances that allow us to repair heavily decayed or broken down teeth with strong and natural looking porcelain crowns.

Crowns are an artificial restoration that fit over the prepared tooth and are sometimes called a cap. They can help to strengthen and protect damaged teeth replacing discoloured fillings, following a root canal treatment or to help hold a bridge or denture in place.

The life expectancy of a crown will depend on how well it is looked after. The crown itself cannot decay but the tooth below the crown can. When you come in for your consultation appointment the dentist will be able to discuss the life expectancy of any crown planned.
